Dear all,

I have one question about piping welding, and all materials chemical composition?

Which diameter and thickness is acceptable for all codes, for one welder, so and change for two welders in same joint

Please help me about this ask.....

Thank you in advance and the best regards.

RE: All codes

Loook at welder qualification for diameter and thickness under ASME B&PV Code Section IX, if you are in the US.

RE: All codes

Your request for "all" codes is pointless. For ASME I, III, B31.1, B31.3, B31.4 and B31.8 where welders may be or required to be qualified per ASME IX, ASME IX governs. Note that B31.8 requires welders to be qualified per API 1104 for compressor station piping.

RE: All codes

The question is too vague.  The short answer is that a welder needs to be qualified to use a specific welding procedure as required by the appropriate code or specification.
