Small room rule in NFPA 13, 1994 Edition?

(OP)
Does anyone have a 1994 edition of NFPA 13 handy (or does anyone know by memory) to check whether the small room rule was in effect at that time?

RE: Small room rule in NFPA 13, 1994 Edition?

Not 100% sure but I think it was.

I recall being able to utilize the small room rule when I started in 89.  I don't have a copy of the standard to back it up.  However, I am sure there are some on here that have copies that far back and will be able t provide you a definite answer.

YES it is in the 1994 and must have been in 1991, because there is no change bar.

does it matter since it is allowed now???

Dealing with a city that is still on the '94 edition.  Thanks for checking!

My goodness - I could understand delaying adopting the latest revision until they had a chance to review it, but they are like 14 years behind on the updates.

Do you need a time machine to get to this place?
