RE: Reuse Library files

You go to the same Siemens PLM website where you download updates new releases of NX and other Siemens PLM software products.  Select the option for NX software and near the bottom of the list of available products is 'folder' titled 'Machinery Library'.  There you will find the various sets of standard parts intended for use in the reuse library function.

I recommend that before you start to download and install any files that you first download a copy of the install instructions, 'Machinery-library-install-tool-2010-05-07.zip' and a copy of the catalog, 'Machinery-library-catalogue-for-NX502.xls'.  These documents will provide you instructions on how to install the libraries in either native or Teamcenter configuration.  The catalog will help you review which libraries you may wish to download since you may not need or even want all of them loaded on your systems as many may not be relevant for your type of work or that standards which you use.

And if theres a chance that you will be wanting to create your own libraries or add your own items to the libraries which you do install, may I suggest that you also download the document, 'Standard_Parts_Creation_Best_Practive_v1.1.zip', which will provide tips and techniques to get the most of the reuse library when you wish to supplement it with your own products and standard parts.
