Mistake in 5.10.2.6?

Mistake in 5.10.2.6?

Mistake in 5.10.2.6?

(OP)
Hi,
I went to API's web site looking for errata for the 11th Ed, Addendum1, but found none so I thought some of you might be able answer this simple question.

I think there is a typo in 5.10.2.6, first paragraph.  I believe the last sentence was meant to say "When a Purchaser....a frangible roof, the tank design shall compy with a, b or c, and d of the following:"

I think the mistake is saying either c or d.

RE: Mistake in 5.10.2.6?

You are correct.  This was corrected in the 11th ed Addendum 2.

Thanks for the info.

I did not know they came out with Add 2 already.

RE: Mistake in 5.10.2.6?

Not to worry, there are typos in Addendum 2, also.

Yes, I just downloaded the new addendum 2 and noticed that just about every pages has revision lines on them.  This is just like Mickysoft softwares:  rush to get it out and fix it later with patches!

This tanks standard used to be so simple to understand and use. Now, it is turning into a pressure vessel code!
