Problem with Example Problem V SAP2000 v. 14.2.4

At step 11 I am not able to make appear the pinned option, once the element to be drawn is set as CABLE. I circumvent the thing by defining the cable in the model as a frame line, then pinned (the pinned option gets available this time) but otherwise the cable shows bending stiffness and upon the imparted descent of temperature gets an (upwards!) curved shape, when obviously must be close to straight for one taut pinned cable and downwards from own weight.

Some way to define the cable as pinned at both ends?

I have discovered that setting the hypothesis being analyzed to nonlinear static awakens the fact of the axial-only rigidity of the cable. Hence, even if I can't set the cable as pinned, I still get a taut straightened cable upon its temperature descent.

I haven't checked against the frame line model for the cable I made the other day.

So, for now,
1. forget about setting the cable as pinned in step 11
2. prior to running the analysis ensure you have set the loadcase to be nonlinear static

Again, I have not checked as of now but the qualitative aspects of the now apparently correct solution.
