Modelling kinematics

Does anyone know of any good software to model kinematics (other than MSC Adams). I am interesting in modelling a motion problem and then extracting the position data during the movement.

Thanks

I look forward to hearing from you all.

Thanks, are there any 3D options out there?

Most of the major CAD packagaes have a simulation module.

What CAD package is your design modeled in?

You owe it yourself to take a look at Alibre & its motion simulation option also.
