How can I create a link between a note and a dimnesion in NX 7.5?

How can I create a link between a note and a dimnesion in NX 7.5?

Hello,

Can anyone answer me how can I create a link between a note and a dimension in NX 7.5?

The note is a kind of appended text, a multiline one, it is positioned under the dimension line and I want it to move in accordance with the dimension line.

I already tried to make it an appended text during dimensioning, but in this case the text is positioned above the dimension line, not under this, as I want.
This is frustrating, because in the right click menu of the note there is only the option to associate the note to a view, not to a dimension.

Thank you!

RE: How can I create a link between a note and a dimnesion in NX 7.5?

The appended text command allows you to position the note in front, behind, above, or below the dimension. Make sure you selected the appropriate option.

If that doesn't work for you, you can associate a note to a dimension with the origin tool. Try out the XY offset option and be sure to tick the 'associative' option.

Cowski, thank you for your response.

Indeed, using the options of appended text command, I didn't obtain the desired result. Instead, I got what I wanted using origin tool.
Thank you again.
