exploded view on drawing

(OP)
I have created an exploded view in my assembly.  I've named it, moved all the components where I like them, and I can turn it on and off.  But, how do I place a view showing the explosion on my drawing?  I can't seem to find the command anywhere.

RE: exploded view on drawing

The explosion must be created in the drawing file. To add an exploded view, make sure the explosion is toggled on then switch to drafting and add a base view (pick the name of the exploded view).

In my experience, the best practice is to save a new view (modeling application), explode components as desired, switch to drafting and add the view (insert base view - choose name of view you created and exploded).
