I have browsed extensively on this site but could not get an answer on a typical current density that is applied to the conductor in a protection class CT.

This is meant to be a bar type CT and the application would be 750A/1 and 2500/, both on 11kV.  What would the current density (A/mm^2)then on the secondary conductors be for continuous operation?

Impossible to give an exact answer since the secondary conductor sizing is based on max continuous current (rated * rating factor), how many turns and interaction with impact on hear generated and ability of the CT to pass the heat out, and short-time current rating.

Somewhere between 3 and 6 A/mm^2 would be a good guess.
