Spectrum analysis combination of results with gravity

Spectrum analysis combination of results with gravity

Spectrum analysis combination of results with gravity

(OP)
Greetings,

I have performed the spectrum analysis (in term of acceleration) of a solid object. I would like to combine the results of the spectrum analysis with the gravity effect on the structure. I thought this could be done using the ACEL command during the spectrum solution. But it seems that my results are equal in both cases. I guess that it doesn't work in the way I thought.

I didn't find nothing in the help. Do I have to combine the results of the spectrum analysis with a static analysis perhaps?

RE: Spectrum analysis combination of results with gravity

Don't know the specifics of spectrum analysis but you can combine any results by using load cases (i'm sure that there are otehr ways). look at the 'lcoper'  command

good luck
