Force balancing particular

(OP)
Hello fellow eng mates,

I just have a quick info question to ask.
I have been looking for information of force balancing of prismatically actuated mechanisms without luck. The published works (both texts and journals) all conduct force balancing on mechanisms that are actuated at a revolute joint.
Of course, I will conduct my own sequence (as I always have the habit of doing). However, I would like to know if anyone knows if there does exist material on in this area.

(For those of you that don't know I design new robots and methods for these ect.. and am working on one of this type right now)

cheers

RE: Force balancing particular

i wonder if this is of any help ... a google ad (on Flight International, FWIW) from PCBmotor.com just might be relevant ??

Thanks.
PCBmotor.com is interesting. I will look into possible solutions using that technology.

I was also more or less curious if anyone has done force balancing or dynamic force balaning of prismatically actuated mechanisms.
