outdoor commercial item power connector in EU

(OP)
Hi, I was hoping someone could tell me what kind of outdoor power connector commonly would be used in the EU to bring power into an IP67 rated enclosure.  My company is designing a product we want to put outdoors.  I asked the Hubbell Kellems rep to come by and he suggested an IEC pin/sleeve style connector.  Apparently they come in different series are incompatible between different voltages to prevent problems.  I need to bring in 300 Watts at 125 or 220V based on the common voltage one would find.  Does anyone have any thoughts?

RE: outdoor commercial item power connector in EU

The cheapest I'm aware of - and of reasonable quality for the price - is Bulgin's 'Buccaneer' range which is good for IP68.

If you want to spend a bit more money on a larger and heavier design for a rougher environment then the BS4343 / IEC309 series of industrial connectors is probably suitable. The basic design is nominally IP44 but manufacturer-specific variants achieve IP67.
