(OP)
Hi guys,

I've just started playing with ABAQUS as apart of my master course.
We had people from SIMULIA teach the subject on ABAQUS but that part is over now so I don't have anyone to ask questions too hence I'm here.

I have a automotive tubular chassis I designed and I'm crashing it into a rigid body by sending it off with a certain velocity and let inertia do the rest.

My issue is, I'm crashing only the frame which weighs 240kgs or so, the car when completed would weigh around 1200kgs, so obviously the impact would be fair greater.

How can I make the chassis weigh 1200kg? (One cheat I did was increase the density of the material, but obviously this could have other non wanted effects)
