transportation and handling loads

(OP)
Hi all,
Can some one tell me what kind of lateral load combination should I use for analyzing a structure subjected to transportation and handling loads. I saw in a sample calculation that they used the following combinations for lifting and handling loads respectively,

a. for lifting load
   2g vertical

b. and for transportation loads

   1.  1.5g lateral + 1g vertical,
   2.  2.5g vertical load and
   3.  1.0g lateral + 1g vertical.

this example does not cite from where these load combinations were obtained. Are these the right combinations or are there any other combinations ?

Thanks
