Concrete sealants

Concrete sealants

Concrete sealants

(OP)
I appreciate if somebody recommends a concrete sealant product that can be applied to cured concrete.
The sealant has to provide protection against chloride ingress and acceptable for contact with petroleum products (i.e. oil and gasoline).

Thanks...

RE: Concrete sealants

Are you looking for a sealant or a sealer?  A sealant is for joints, while sealer is another word sometime used to describe a coating.

RE: Concrete sealants

I'm looking to apply a (sealant/ sealer) layer to existing concrete deck. I think sealer is the term to use then (?)

RE: Concrete sealants

In which case, I would seek advice from industrial coatings manufacturers and applicators in your area.

RE: Concrete sealants

Contact Master Builders' Association.  Just google it.

RE: Concrete sealants

That would depend on where he is in the world.  When I google "Master Buider's Association", all references are to the Australian organisation of that name.  The same will be true of coatings suppliers.  In the US, probably Porter, Carboline, BASF, Sika would be appropriate.

RE: Concrete sealants

Not sure if they make exactly what you are looking for, but Sika's products have been simply outstanding in every application i have used them
