Guys, I live in a hydro rich country. So, To develop a hydropower station, what are the major designs an electrical engineer has to do ? Also,Is there any website which provides technical drawings or detailed study on hydropower above say 1MW?
Note: Only generation part is undertaken by the contractor

I doubt there are any websites like that.  Every hydro plant is custom. They take lots of expertise in many fields to create.

The electrical design is actually not the major part of a hydro-electric facility.  Geotechnical, civil, structural, and mechanical issues are generally much more challenging.  Not to mention permitting, environmental, fish biology, water rights and licensing
