Line weight on FCF

Attached is a composite feature control frame, may I ask how to change the line weight on the feature control frame and makes it match with the text.

Thanks for the help and your inputs

RE: Line weight on FCF

The bold symbols can be change to TXT.SHX font by going to FORMAT>TEXT STYLE> select a new STYLE NAME>and change FONTS to TXT.SHX; then under property when you pick the GD&T symbols, select the new STYLE NAME under the text style block.  You should then have uniformity of line thickness in the GD&T block.

Thanks for your inputs, chicopee.

The method you stated is changing the font style to match with the line weight, what I want is:
1.    How can I change a thin line to a heavy line on the feature control frame.
2.    How to change the geometric tolerance symbol, diameter symbol and circled M symbol in order to match with the existing font style.

Thanks again for any inputs.

I got the answer by changing the line weight:
Format >> Lineweight >> select a heavier line and set as default

Thanks any way

RE: Line weight on FCF

SeasonLee it's a loaded question. Line weight assigned to objects is often overwritten by the plot style file and best practice is to change the line weight of the layer, not the object.

RE: Line weight on FCF

SeasonnLee, your method only changes the Geometric Characteristic symbol; my method changes the geometric tolerance value and the Datum refernce letters but not the material condition symbols.  So we are still left with the diameter and the material condition symbols and the control frame.  I suspect that if you can locate the programing file for these three remaining items, you may be able to complete this project.
Changing the lineweights in the layers will not work.
You can not refedit or explode this tolerance command.
