I am a newbie here. I just want to ask help from you guys on how to represent weld size of different weld properly. Please see attached picture. Is it the picture 1 or picture 2?

If you are doing a partial penetration weld with a reinforcing fillet, then you would show groove depth and show the size of the fillet
The picture on the right shows a PJP weld (with groove depth and effective throat) and no size of fillet weld.
The picture on the left shows the groove depth and size of fillet weld. I am not sure of your numbers but that's how you would represent it.

Sometime the reinforcing fillet is for fatigue, and not increased strength. We do very little fatigue design, but I have seen a similar weld symbol on bridge details.
