NX6 Circular Array of Series Hole possible?

NX6 Circular Array of Series Hole possible?

NX6 Circular Array of Series Hole possible?

(OP)
NX6

I recently tried to instance a series hole using a circular array.
The hole doesnt even show up in the feature list. (NX6)I "grouped"
the hole and it shows up in the feature list, preforms the array; at least it shows up in Part Navigator, however the holes do not show up in the solids. Probably a boolean problem and just wanted to know if there has been an "official UG' answer to this.
Searched prior threads but did not find anything regarding the problem.

RE: NX6 Circular Array of Series Hole possible?

You may want to try using "Syncronous modeling" for this one.I am not sure why what you tried didn't work, but this is a good option.
Insert > Syncronous modeling > Reuse > copy face
If you have simple holes (no taps) it should work fine - but make sure you select all the faces of the holes (chamfers, stuff like that). It will be parametric.

Thanks Jerry for possible work around. I apparently this is a problem in NX6 with the series type hole.  maybe fix is in NX7.5.3 ....
