For a measurement device I am designing, I would like to measure the moment on a face in Catia. I've tried creating an internal force sensor on the face I would like to measure on. However, this does not seem to give me accurate results.

To test my use of the Force sensor, I created a simple .2 meter cantilever beam, fixed at one end and with a 10N force on the edge of the other end. This would give an expected 10N x .2m or 2Nm Moment on the supported edge.

However, using the force sensor (both internal force and reaction force) the Moment in the expected direction is .315Nm, much smaller than expected.

I have tried every combination of "supports" and "selections" that I can think of, and they all are giving results different than the expected 2Nm.

Anyone know how to get accurate results in Moments from force sensors?

BTW the force readings are fairly accurate, it is only the Moment readings that I cant get.
