NX6 & Windows 7
NX6 & Windows 7
(OP)
Just testing NX6 on Windows 7.
With User Interface Preferences set to Windows Style - NX (Recommended) the font (menubars and dialogs) looks pretty bad. Switching to NX with System Font or System Theme improve things vastly.
Seeing as that's a change from the recommended setting, are there any downsides ?

Windows XP32 (Windows 7 64)

RE: NX6 & Windows 7
That being said, we would be interested in WHY you think that using the NX(Recommended) style "looks pretty bad". What was it exactly that turned you off?
And as for the 'System Theme' option, that's dependent on what you've chosen as the overall Windows 7 theme for the system desktop.

RE: NX6 & Windows 7
I guess 'bad' wasn't the word of choice. It's just that it doesn't look as good as it should.
I figured out the issue. I'm new to Windows 7, and it turns out that the default display uses 125% for the size of text. Changing it to 100% 'fixes' the issue.
Although then, the text is too small, so I'll stay with 125% and change the NX Window Style to use 'NX with System Font'.
The attached image shows the different displays :
