QUESTION ON SE VIEWS IN THE DRAFT
QUESTION ON SE VIEWS IN THE DRAFT
(OP)
I have a large model with differnt assemblies.
I inserted it into a draft and all I get is a dashed border box.
No wire frame. I can insert a single assembly from the larger one and I can see it. What is going wrong? I am using simplified assemblies. I can see a shaded view of the assembly but not a wire frame. What am I doing wrong?

Take a good look at the display settings in the draft views.

On the 'Display' tab select and RMB on the part that has the surfaces.
From the list click 'List Constructions'.
Update the view and the surfaces will show.
