Hi everybody,

I'm looking for the element with the same capabilities of ANSYS SOLID226 but for NASTRAN.

Thank you very much in advance.

RE: SOLID226 in NASTRAN

The Solid226 appears to have 20 nodes according to the following link,

http://www.kxcad.net/ansys/ANSYS/ansyshelp/Hlp_E_SOLID226.html

In Nastran, the Hex20 element happens to have 20 nodes according to the following link,

http://www.mscsoftware.com/training_videos/patran/Reverb_help/index.html#page/Finite%20Element%20Modeling/elem_lib_topics.16.8.html

I haven't done too many thermal problems, so, I am not guaranteeing the Hex20 will satisfy your request.
