Refitting a oil burning power plant to gas burning

Refitting a oil burning power plant to gas burning

(OP)
Just wondering if anyone can provide me with some information regarding the steps necessary to refit an existing oil burning power plant to now burn natural gas? I've been doing research on the web but can't seem to find out exactly how this task is accomplished. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Hey, the link you posted took me to a site where I can search for jobs? I think you may have posted the wrong link?

I think he was hinting that you need to find some competent help.

RE: Refitting a oil burning power plant to gas burning

As in where do we start?  Are you asking about the gas firing equipment - burner rings, registers, etc or do you already have it?  Are you asking about the difference in the boiler heat absorption due to the difference between the high radiant oil flame and the high UV gas flame?  Are you asking about the furnace heat release ratios?

Was the boiler designed to burn oil only or were provisions made for gas firing?

What do you really want to know?
