SW Pack-and-Go "Include Drawings" fail--SOLVED

SW Pack-and-Go "Include Drawings" fail--SOLVED

SW Pack-and-Go "Include Drawings" fail--SOLVED

(OP)
For the longest time, I was having trouble getting Pack-and-Go to find drawings.  When I hit the "Include Drawings" checkbox, the process would start, then hang.

Today I discovered that the culprit is "Flat View".  Include Drawings works fine in Nested View, but hangs in Flat View.

A quick test here confirmed your findings. thumbsup

Which OS are you using?

I have no issues, but never used Flat View. I'm not really sure what the Flat View option is for.

Nested vs Flat is like the BOM's Indented vs Parts Only.

The Flat View is used when you want to sit and stare at the screen for the rest of the day. smile

Yes, I have seen the same issue. Leave it in nested view, select the drawings, then change to flat view. In flat view it is easier to eliminate un-needed files.
