Driveworks Functionality - Multiple Indenticle parts - different confg

(OP)
Hello all,
Straight to the point-->

I'm trying put a model in to driveworks that involves the same part being used multiple times with different configurations.

(Simplified example):
Assembly Name: Tube_Assy.sldasm
Part Name: Tube.sldprt

In the assembly drawing, there are 4 instances of "Tube.sldprt" and "Tube.sldprt" has 4 different configurations.

I would like to be able to control the configuration of each "Tube.sldprt" with rules in Driveworks.

Driveworks (Xpress) is not recognizing each instance of the file "Tube.sldprt". It only "captures" the single file, and not the instance of it in the assembly.

Could anyone please tell me how I could have driveworks be able to change the configuration of each instance of the same part in the assembly?
