Moving Objects NX7.5

Moving Objects NX7.5

Moving Objects NX7.5

(OP)
When moving objects dynamically how do I get the handle (manipulator) to snap to the current csys. In NX5 there was a button that looked like a csys that would snap handles to the current csys but the same button (manipulator) exists in NX7.5 but doesn't appear to do anything.

RE: Moving Objects NX7.5

When the dynamic csys appears, right click on the cube that represents the origin; a pop up menu will appear with options to orient or align the dynamic csys with the wcs.

RE: Moving Objects NX7.5

If all you want to do is move the dynamic drag handles so that THEY are aligned with the WCS, make sure that you toggled ON the 'Move Handles Only' option before selecting the reference CSYS or select the WCS option as stated above.  Once the handles have been aligned properly, then toggle OFF this option and proceed with Moving your object(s).
