Programmatically switch Gateway Application

Programmatically switch Gateway Application

(OP)
Hello all,

I am using NX7.5.3.3 and currently programming in C and C++. I would like to know if there is a slim chance of programatically switching the gateway application, e.g. from Motion Simulation to Modeling. I can think of one way, but I'm hoping for something a little easier: By using Win32 API and the SendInput function, trigger the hotkey (shortcut) registered to the specific application I am trying to switch to. Maybe someone knows an easier way??

Thanks so much!

RE: Programmatically switch Gateway Application

Straight from Siemens, in reply to an issue I posted earlier:

'We do not have any methods in any of our programming toolkits that are designed to allow you to switch applications...'

I know this does not help but as they say, it's working 'as designed'!
