Design a component based on Grms value
Design a component based on Grms value
(OP)
Hi !
I designed a casting bracket, and got it tested , mounted on engine, Results show me Grms values of X, Y, Z directions.
I understand that X value is high , and i need to reduce that by changing my design..
Dont know how to go about it .. any BigBro can help me in this ? so soory for such a question !!

What is the bare bracket natural frequency?
I dunno what kind of engine this is but the orders seem a bit strange.
You can live with resonance if you understand the stresses at resonance. What are they like?
