component loading error in nx7

component loading error in nx7

component loading error in nx7

(OP)
What is the possible reason for this error? It happens then loading assembly. I can simply replace componet (to itself) then, and it loads perfectly.

Nx7.0.7.1 64bit
win7 64bit

RE: component loading error in nx7

Normally , if you have two files with the same name, NX keeps track of both the visible name that you set when you created the part and  also a invisible ID number , referred to as the "UID".
The UID is a random number that should make that specific file unique.
This UID is then checked when you open an assembly if the file found is the correct file or not.
If you would try "fool" NX by placing a new different file in the same directory but with the same name, this UID check would give this error message.

In case you use the Load option  - Search directories, it is a matter of if NX finds the wrong or correct part file first. Have a look at the error message and check if the noted directory is correct or not.
You can disable the UID check under Load Options "allow Replacement" = on.
