I have welded two different test coupon of SA 516 GR60 TO SA 516 GR70 of 5.8 mm & 8 mm for PQR.both PQR samples requires impact test at -46 deg C per 31.3.
For 5.8 mm thk Coupon lab has prepared sample of 5mm for PM & 3.3 mm for weld & HAZ. Similarly for 8 mm coupon lab has prepared 7.5 mm for PM & 5 mm for weld & HAZ.
At what temp above samples needs to be impact tested considering temp reduction?
Will there be any change in temp if i uses UG84 per sec VIII DIV I. i know two design codes are different & should be  treated differently
but wanted to know diference also.
A quick reply is highly appreciated
