Dear Sir

The cyclone reactor with DPT and its tube (attached drawing)
I wonder is the process connections should be at least 1/2" NPT and instrument should be equipped with socket or yoke for mounting on a 2" pipe. A yoke is not required if instrument is mounted on a
vessel or process line.
But, the size of this pipe for DPT is decided by instrument or piping ? there is no hint on P&ID. Please help me out.

Thank you very much for your kindly help.

RE: DPT conncection size and no. scope

Pressure measurments are not normally flowing devices.  As such only pressure signals are need.  Therefore instrument tubing over piping is generally preferred.

The case for piping connection is defined more for a structural need.
