ICEM meshes to Ansys APDL

ICEM meshes to Ansys APDL

Hi everyone,

I'm using Ansys Multphisics to analise a car chassis. Is there any way to mesh the chassis on ICEM and then import the mesh with Ansys APDL?

Thanks in advance

RE: ICEM meshes to Ansys APDL

Hi, that is easy. In ICEM there is possibility to export your mesh into Ansys, Abaqus or other programs.
There is also an advanced setting in ICEM that you can select the type of your mesh (solid187 or mesh200,...).

RE: ICEM meshes to Ansys APDL

Could you tell me which is the command to get mesh element control, please?
Many thanks
Mick
