Stainless Steel finishes
Stainless Steel finishes
(OP)
Hi All
I work for a company whose products are in stainless steel cabinetry. I have been given the task of checking on possible finishes to the cabinetry such as adding colour and seeing if they were viable for our products. Anyone with info about the different finishing techniques and approx cost of the finish would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

RE: Stainless Steel finishes
The third and forth are for a supplier of commercial and special finished Stainless Steel. They offer an inexpensive sample pack.
Any coatings or paint are generally very company specific as one has to have all the environmental parameters for each coating.

Thanks for the info got me started as to what i am looking for. Alot of the links attached above appear to be for flat panel colouring. Do you know of any companys that colour fabricated/formed stainless steel panels. The panels we have are curved at the ends.

In electrochemical work it usually comes down to the shape of your electrode.

RE: Stainless Steel finishes
If a special pattern is need you can go electro etching. there is a practical limit on size.
In the same line there are companies that do ECM profiling to create eurface patterns in relief.
Look around.
