Design Table and Reference Dimension

Design Table and Reference Dimension

Design Table and Reference Dimension

(OP)
I'm trying to do some analysis/design work with the sketcher and I was hoping that I could speed up the process with a design table.

I am trying to have Catia output a reference dimension as I vary the angle of a tensioner. For the initial configuration, Catia would output the value of both my angles but after I add the addition rows for the first angle, the second column (reference) angle remains empty.

Is this even possible?

Thanks.

RE: Design Table and Reference Dimension

You can do it with a reaction that is triggered when you update the primary angle.  The reaction will take both values and send it to the excel file then index to the next available column.  You need the KWA (Knowledge Advisor) license to build this.

Regards,
Derek

Thank you very much! Your help is very much appreciated!

If you don't mind, I hope to add to your code to automate my task as much as possible.

Not a problem, I sent it to help you out.
