AS Fastener Spec cross reference.
AS Fastener Spec cross reference.
(OP)
Howdy all,
I'm working on an RR RB211 and the IPC calls out AS22719 as a close tolerance bihex bolt. Is there a location to get specs for these AS fasteners? is there a cross reference which links to an equivalent AN/MS/NAS standard? I could figure out an NSN number for the fastener. If I had the NSN number is there a way to work back to an equivalent fastener/spec? I tried doing searches, but since "as" is a very common english word I have had almost not luck in finding what I'm looking for.
I wanted to choose a fastener with a longer grip length, and I figured out that the last two digits of that AS number is the grip length in 1/16ths but without actually looking at a spec I feel like I'm shooting from the hip. Also equivalent fasteners may be easier to get.
Thanks for everyones help.
