please can somone help me i have a quation about reparation of AIRBUS A321 cargo compartment floor panels ,first i didnt understand the diference btween zone B and zone C Bouth of them have a GFRP Panel and alsso the meaning of abreviation CLS ,and the deference btween (bulk cargo & occasional bulk) all this IAW SRM52-02-00

RE: Floor panels A321

I no longer have an Airbus login, but my first guess to define CLS would be Cargo Loading System.

thank you debodine (CLS : cargo loading systeme) please you have any more explanation about ZONE B and ZONE C ,i have to localize  my damage in which zone.

RE: Floor panels A321

I don't have a copy of this particular SRM, but in my experience you should be able to find a overview picture of the floor structure in the SRM that will specify the location of Zone B and Zone C.  Your damage will either fall into Zone B or Zone C. If for some reason you think it could be categorized as either Zone B or Zone C you need to look carefully at all the fine print in the figure, for example the line number of the aircraft etc.
Just by reading the SRM you have no way of knowing the reason why two different areas of apparently the same material have different Zoning's, you can only guess at the reasons.
All you can do is correctly locate your damage, see if it falls in the SRM limits and if so incorporate the repair, otherwise refer it to the OEM.

RE: Floor panels A321

The zones are defined in SRM53-02-00 PB101 and CLS (Cargo Loading System)is defined in AMM25-52.
As to the differences between the panels my guess is different flammability or loading requirements (and of course it could also have something to do with which partner company supplies them!). If you really need to know why then either go to some drawings on airbusworld or ask airbus.

RE: Floor panels A321

I am not very familiar with fuselage structure but looking at fig 101 sheet 2, the top and bottom diagrams are slightly different (cut-outs are larger on the top diagram), which leads me to believe that zone B and zone C are possibly 2 different floor levels?

Tank you friends for your response , I'm familiarized with A320 SRM , first for the identification I refered to SRM 53-43-14 I found that the modification 26655k2205 applied to our aircraft, so the aft cargo compartment with CLS , but for materiel wish floor pnl made of the SRM give only the thinness , in other wise in chapter SRM53-02-00 allowable damage table 102 there is a colone (panel name) exp: pc1, ccc1 , bcc1 ... ??? And a colone skin colore .                                                                                                                                                          In my case I have a panel damaged with ALU/GFRP , and when I refered to SRM 53-02-00 fig101 page bloc101 , in reality I'm in zon B because I have CLS system, and in figure we see in the center line of the loading track . I can't understand I'm in zone B With GFRP pnl but in reality I have A ALU/GFRP that used only in ZOne C .
