I was told this standard has been "withdrawn". I am not sure what that means. Is it in play, is it being rewritten, or something else.

IEEE 422:"IEEE Guide for the Design and Installation of Cable Systems in Power Generating Stations"
was the main guide for many years for power station design facilities. There are some overlaps with other standards and from 1994 ended to be up-to-date.
IEEE intends to revive the standard as it results from the attached article.
