Howdy all, stuck again on another project,

Building an ultra light and making a few pieces using solid works ( chair and spinner)

The spinner im stuck on i have made it how i want it. i have access to a cnc router, i want to cut this part into sections of 6mm.

so i should end up with roughly 20 cicrles, getting smaller,

how do i do this ive been looking through all the tutorials and just cant work it out.

I have designed the chair and hope to do the same thing. cut into 10mm sections and then glue together and sand should make mould making easy. i hope you understand what im trying to ask.

Cheers brad

RE: part making

Do a linear pattern of planes 6mm apart.  Then do a sketch on each plane converting the circular section.  Or you can create a planar surface, do a linear pattern, then split the part using the split part or cut with surface command.
