I'm fighting with display issues on our new z400 and quadro 4000 cards. Using the exact represenations it still looks lightweight. What could be the reason -> attached pic

RE: display issues nx7.5.3

Does a display refresh or regenerate correct the problem?

Check the visualization performance preferences, try bumping the model size down a level (large -> medium; medium -> small, etc) or try the 'automatic' setting.

thx cowski
regenerate corrects the problem

but why not automatically?

RE: display issues nx7.5.3

As you zoom in on a display, it would be very slow if the system had to constantly update so as to maintain the same relative level of tessellation of the shaded models.  This way you get faster performance but the user has to decide when and if he wants the display to update.
