We receive mathdata from GM and other sources. Sometimes when we open the files the reference set is set to "ref" and we have to change it to "part" so we can export it out as step or iges. Is there a setting to have an assembly open to a selected reference set if its available?

Forgot to say I am on NX 5.0.4.1 MP6

RE: Loading with selected reference set

In the assembly load options there is a place to pick the reference set. Choose the one you want (or add it if necessary). Be sure to "save as default" (under the saved load options section) after you set up the options you want; or use "save to file" if there are multiple load option scenarios you want to keep.

Thanks. Going to test it now.

RE: Loading with selected reference set

You can edit the load_options.def file for a specific ref set. Not sure if you can program a series...load#1 if found, else load#2, etc.
