Assembly Constraints
Assembly Constraints
(OP)
When deleting a component I get the following message ...
"Some deleted components were positioned by assembly constraints.
Do you want those constraints to be deleted as well?"
I always select YES, so is there a setting that will prevent the question from displaying ?

RE: Assembly Constraints
While some people may consider that to be a rather obtuse workflow since they could have used the 'Replace Component' option instead, with the 'Maintain Relationships' option toggled ON, there are some people who prefer to work using separate and explicit operations rather than trying to peform all the tasks in a single action, since at one time that's the way UG/NX worked and some people just prefer to continue to work in that manner and so this Constraint 'message' and the options it presents, was our attempt to accommodate these customers.

RE: Assembly Constraints
So I'm guessing there is no customer default to control the message then ?
