What is the current year edition and addenda for B31.1? Thank you..

RE: Current year edition and addenda

90harley;
It depends on what laws, rules or engineering specification. If you are required to follow the latest edition, that would be the
 ASME B31.1 2010 Edition

RE: Current year edition and addenda

go to www.asme.org and look it up

RE: Current year edition and addenda

If i am fabricating to sect 1 2010 it still lists B31.1 07 in table A360 (pg 251). So i am to use B31.1 07?

However if i am fabricating to NBEP to latest of B31.1 I would use 2010...?

Is this right?

Can anyone give me a little insight or resources to read up on...searched ASME site, didnt find much.

Yes you are right.
A-360 of Section I-2010 accepts 2007 Edition of B31.1 for BEP and for NBEP you will follow 2010 Edition of B31.1.
