Multi Cell Rectangular Concrete Tanks of varying sizes
Multi Cell Rectangular Concrete Tanks of varying sizes
(OP)
I am designing a multi-cell rectangular tank. The cell sizes are 6'W x 7'L x 5'H and 6'W x 2.5'L x 5'H. Every reference I can find discusses how to design the multi-cell tanks, assuming the cells are symmetrical. Can anyone provide guidance on how to approach this design?

If the common wall is the irregular sides, you'll have to check each tank as full and make sure the corners and bases are reinforced for both cases. You might be able to use the shorter wall to support the longer wall.
But with those dimensions, if you use a 12 inch wall with #6's each way, each face, (minimum bending reinforcing) it's going to work.
