Solidworks Clock spring

Solidworks Clock spring

(OP)
Hi, does anyone know how to model a clock spring in SolidWorks? I can draw the flat spiral using the helix/spiral tool but don't know how to then add a cross section area to it??? So it's just a line drawing at the moment! (see attached image)

Any help appreciated :)

RE: Solidworks Clock spring

Use the sketch of the spiral as the Path and at one end of that sketch create a plane (if necessary) and create a sketch of the Profile.  With the Path and Profile sketches use the Sweep command.

Or convert the spiral into a 2D sketch and extrude using the Thin-Feature option.
