NX Display problem

NX Display problem

NX Display problem

(OP)
In lenevo laptop ( core i5), NX 7.5 application does not display objects properly. Even a small cylinder or circular holes does not display properly. What could be the reason can anyone help?

RE: NX Display problem

It's very possible that the graphics card/driver is not certified (often the case with non-workstation class laptops).

When you say it "does not display properly" could you be a little bit more specific?  Perhaps include a screen shot of what you're seeing?

Hi

When i create a box , the display is ok, but when i  create a circular hole on the box, the box is not displayed correctly. Top and bottom surfaces are displayed. Dimension arrows are big and blurred. How do i post the images in this forum, so that it will be still more clear.

RE: NX Display problem

hi,
I have the same laptop. Nx does not run on that spec machine. Most likely the graphics card is not supported.

cheers,
James

RE: NX Display problem

What model Lenova laptop and what graphics card is in it, if any? Integrated graphics chips are not supported.

Its is Lenovo T410 with integrated intel graphics card ver 6.14.10.5237

RE: NX Display problem

Try changing the graphics driver. Seen this problem before and it's always with uncertified cards and especially the Intel integrated chipset. The driver can fix the problem but it's no guarantee. The best solution is a certfied graphics card/laptop.

This worked for a previous thread.
The dimension text in the sketch is transformed into a kind of symbol.
