API or ASME rating on 15-20k ball valves?

API or ASME rating on 15-20k ball valves?

(OP)
What class under ASME B16.34 would ball valves with ratings to 15-20k have? I do not see a material in B16.34 that can be rated so high. Does 16.34 take us to 4500 special class then above 11,250psi do other standards then need to be followed? How about an API spec?

RE: API or ASME rating on 15-20k ball valves?

In Statoil TR2000 you can find valve-specs with API rating 15.000 psi.
VDS GIMX202G is a gate valve with design code API 6A and a rating of 15.000 psi.
