Design recomendations for steam volume in HRSG

Design recomendations for steam volume in HRSG

Design recomendations for steam volume in HRSG

(OP)
Dear Sirs,

I am trying to review some steam evaporators (HRSG) installed in our plant. Some operators suggest that the systems are prone to carry-over leading to flooding of the steam line.

I would ask for some design recomendations (Book references, articles or WWW-pages). There is an earlier posting but concrete references or values are missing like the load factor should be xxx m3/h /m2 at yyy pressure or the steam volume should be between x and y m3 at zzz pressure.

apparently there are several factors to be taken in account like water evaporation surface, steam volume related to steam prodution, distance between exit nozzle and water surface---

I googled already so please submitt only solid answers.

thanks in advance
Kind regards
