Transparency control

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone understands how to control the transparency level. That is, you are given a slider which you figure would offer you some sort of control. Mine simply acts like an "on" "off" switch. Any comments?

As usual, Thanks in advance

RE: Transparency control

In the basic rendering modes, it is transparent or not. use material rendering mode and you will have the finer control the slider suggests

Thanks Peterguy, I will try you suggestion

RE: Transparency control

Peter is right, but you can also enable this behavior in all rendering modes by going to Tools > Options > General > Display > Performance > Transparency Quality > High (Alpha Blending). Just be aware that this will tax your graphics card (just as Material mode will).
