Metal spraying on high strength steel

Metal spraying on high strength steel

Metal spraying on high strength steel

(OP)
I want to find a metal spray, or metal spraying process that will bond strongly to high strength steel and have a similar surface reactivity as stainless steel specifically (SS 2343). The high strength steel alone has a problem with a copper concentrate (similar consistency as sand) sticking to its surface. I have had difficulty finding information that compares different surface reactivity between materials. I will consider alternative coatings if a metal spray seems unsuitable.

You haven't given much information about your requirements.  One needs a  lot information to give a viable suggestion.

Need to know things like do you want to prevent corrosion or just to prevent the Cu from sticking to the steel and corroding?

The shapes and quantity of the components needing  the coating?

Will the coating be applied inside or outside?

Is this going to be a product setup or essentially a one off project?

Any other special considerations required.
